【书写求职信要点】
要点一：不要“饥不择食”。
有的沉重临近毕业，找工作心切，于是找一本电话号码簿或企业通讯录，从中随便找一些单位就匆匆发出求职信。这种“饥不择食”的做法，一是使收到求职信的单位没有任何准备，无法在短期内对你有有所考查而将信将疑;二是你对单位也不很了解，工作之才发现不理想，悔之晚矣。
要点二：避免简写歧义。
与朋友谈话时人们习惯简称自己的学校或者所修专业，但在求职中应该避免这样做。用简写词语一是显得随便、不够庄重，可能会引起读信人的反感;二是一些简称只有在特写的地方、特写的交往范围中才能被准确地理解，超出这一范围人们可能就会不知所言至产生误解。比如“中大”，在广东人们都会明白它是指中山大学，但是在广东以外的地方，很少有人明白它的意思。“人大”、“师”、“政经”等词都很容易被误解，最好不用。
要点三：不能眉毛胡子一把抓。
有的求职信就像记流水帐，想到哪里就写到哪里。既没有逻辑性，抓不住要领，又没有针对性，显得条理不清。这不仅体现出一个人文字功力差，而且也使求职信本身失去了效用。语信表达的逻辑性、条理性、明确性是写求职信的最起码的要求。
要点四：不可夸大其词
求职是一个自我推销的过程，写求职信，只能搞“适度推销”，绝不可夸大其词。
在求职信中应该尽量避免使用“一定”、“肯定”、“最好”、“第一”、“绝对”、“完全可以”、“保证”等词以及类似“有很强的组织能力”、“有很强的活动能力”之类的语句。然而，有的求职者惟恐对方不用自己而一味地吹嘘、炫耀自己博学多才，甚至贬低别人，抬高自己，似乎不录用他，对方就会遭受不可弥补的损失，这种做法是十分错误的。
要点五：称呼要恰当，如不恰当会显得俗气。
有一位女中专毕业生在写给某职业介绍中心工作人员的信中的称呼是“叔叔、阿姨”。还有一位女大学生写给某单位人事处工作人员的求职信的称呼是“大哥、大姐”，这样的称呼是不恰当的，求职信的称呼应该正式、规范。
