We have got the message that a typhoon is coming. According to the observatory, the typhoon, estimated to be stronger than last one, is arriving at our city tonight and will cause violent wind and rain. Therefore, we wish every family would make full preparations for it. Do remember to bring in the outside clothes, close your windows and put your flowerpots in the room lest they should be damaged or should fall down to hurt others. Don餿 go out at night unless there is something very urgent. Especially those old people and young children should be most careful to refrain from dangers. It is said the typhoon is leaving tomorrow afternoon.

Write a notice in about 100 words for the Student Union to inform of a speech contest. NOTICE
The Student Union has decided to hold a Chinese speech contest to celebrate the coming National Day. The maximum time of each speaker is eight minutes. We will invite seven experts to serve as judges. Every speaker will be judged from three aspects: script, eloquence, and the reaction of the audience. The results will be announced immediately.
All the participants are required to hand in their request form before September 12. The preliminary contest falls on September 18 in the school library. The final contest will be held on September 30 in the cinema of our university.

Not not does good manners affect you in business situations but it also helps you to get along with your friends.People always like humble friends.Your manners will also show your social class.If you have good manners people will know that you recieved good education.
Good manners are important in various places as explained above.It really shows how nice and excellent a person you are.

When we look at the commercial ads, we are easily attracted by the beautiful faces. All these perfect faces are made up. People are enjoying watching the attracting scenery, but when they are asked their opinion about the make-up, they are not that open. In my opinion, making up is everybody’s right.
Early in the morning, my friend sent me the two pictures, I saw a girl’s face, one of the picture very beautiful, because the girl had made up, while the other looked not that beautiful, because she did not make up. My friend said so many people CRIticized this girl, for they thought she was ugly and her beautiful outlook was just the trick of make-up. They felt like being cheated.
Seeing these impolite words, I had to say that people are so mean to the people who have made up. It is everybody’s right, if making up can bring people confidence and happiness, then it is right to make up. The things that bring positive sides are worth to be done, we don’t have to care about other people’s judgment.
