　　For most people, they will choose to travel during holiday because they want to relieve themselves from the high pressure of work. However, it happens quite often that people often ran into traffic jams on the way to travel. Some people think that we can relax ourselves by traveling no matter of how many people there. Some people would rather to stay in home than going out to travel because they think there are too many people swarm into the scenic spots. In my point of view, I would rather to stay indoors rather than going out to travel. Reasons are listed below.

　　对于许多人来说，都会选择假期去旅游，因为他们想要从巨大的工作压力中解放自己。但是，在去旅游的路上遇到交通堵塞的事情经常发生。一些人认为不管有多少人，我们还是可以通过旅游来放松自己。一些人情愿呆在家里也不远出去旅游，因为他们觉得旅游景点的人太多了。就我看来，我情愿呆在家里也不远走出去旅游。原因如下：

　　Firstly, during holiday, so many people swarm into the travel spots that we can’t enjoy ourselves to the full. For most people, they want to travel because during holiday, they can have several days to relieve themselves by traveling. However, so many people crowd together will make their tour lose the original fun.

　　第一，在假期期间，太多的人聚集在旅游景点，我们不能玩的很进行。对于很多人来说，他们想要在假期旅游因为他们在假期的时候才有几天的时间来放松自己。但是，太多的人拥挤在一起，就会失去旅游的本身的乐趣。

　　Secondly, during holiday, price will be rising drastically. It is known to all that you need to spend much more to buy things or taking bus or any other transportation since many retailers will raise goods’ price during this holiday to get fat profits.

　　第二，在假期期间，物价会大幅上涨。众所周知，你需要支付更多的钱来买东西或坐车或者乘坐其他的交通工具，因为很多的商家会在此期间通过抬高物价来获取丰厚的利润。

　　All in all, travel during holiday is not a good choice for us since its inconvenience in traveling among a huge crowd of people and also the dramatically high price for goods and transportations will let us pay extra money.

　　总之， 在假期旅游并不是一个好的选择。不仅是因为在旅游的时候穿梭于人群中会很不方便，而且也因为假期期间的物价及交通费用会飞涨而让我们多支付额外费用。

　　I had a long holiday for May Day .I was very happy, because I could do anything I want.

　　During those days. I enjoyed myself. At first, I went to the zoo to see lovely animals. And then. I went to the sea world to see beautiful fishes. That was very interesting. Secondly I went for a trip with my parents, we went to Linxia to visit my grandparents and to eat minority’s foods. We rode horse on the grassland and had a fun with local children. It was very exciting. After that, I held a party and invited some of my best friends to visit my house. My mother bought a lot of tasty foods for us, we also took many photos on the party.

　　Have been a travelling by train for about 3h, the journey was tiring. I arrived in our province's capital city-Nanning,a green city in south China.

　　I met Mrs.Long,then she showed me around the downtown including Walmart,Xingning walking street,the bund,ect. There is a drinks machine in the street that offers passers by free drinkable water. They had the same thing in my city, but people used the water to wash their hands which ruined the machines. On the contrary, Ningningese tend to protect every piece of public property. When a little boy wanted to wash his hands, his mother stopped him immediately and told him," **,you should not use the water to wash your hands,the water is for drinking."

　　In the evening I walked to see the Guangxi Peoples' Hall and Mendzhidao shopping mall. The next day,I cycled to Langdong new district where the Nanning international exhibition is located. The exhibition is built for CAEXPO. The bike broke during my way back,but a student from Guangxi University kindly gave me a lift. On the last day i got up early to go to Qingxiushan Park.

　　Nowadays, more and more people like to travel in their holidays. The other day I read a report about the ways people spend their holidays. It is reported that in recent yiars several new holiday habits have been developed. Among them, the most interesting one is the growth of the so-called holiday camps.

　　From the report we can see that in 1990,40 percent of people stayed at home for holidays. But now the proportion has reduced to 9 percent. More people go out for fun. The proportion of camping and traveling abroad was increasing steadily, from 10 percent in 1990 to 38 percent in 2002, and 12 percent in 1990 to 26 percent in 2002 respectively. People enjoy the fresh air, clean Water and green hills when they go camping in the suburbs. In 1990,38 percent people enjoyed going to the seaside while in 2002 only 27 percent prefer to go there. What great changes!

　　Why did those changes appear? I think there are several reasons. First, it' s because people can afford traveling. Second, people prefer to pursue a high-quality and colorful life. Third, their attitudes to relaxation have changed. Less people want to save much money by leading a simple life. In short, people's living standard today has been rising greatly.

　　如今，越来越多的人喜欢在假期旅游。前几天我看了一篇关于介绍人们如何度过假期的文章。据报道，近年来出现了几种新的度假方式。其中，最有趣的是所谓的假期野营越来越受到青睐。

　　从报告中我们可以看到，1990年40%的人放假时足不出户。但是现在这个比例已经降到了9%。越来越多的`人们出门找乐子。野营和出国旅行的比例不断增加，分别从1990的10 %增长到2002的38% ，以及从12 %增长到26%。在郊外野营的人们享受着清新的空气，干净的水和绿色的山林。1990年38%的人喜欢去海边，而2002只有27%的人选择去那里。多么大的变化！

　　为什么会出现上述这些变化？我认为有几个原因。第一，人们能够负担得起旅游的费用。第二，人们更愿意追求一种高质量、丰富多彩的生活。第三，人们对待休闲的态度改变了。很少有人愿意节衣缩食来省下一大笔钱了，总之，人民的生活水平日益提高了。

　　Last summer vacation，my family and I went to Qingdao by train.There was always sunshine and fresh air，which made us so comfortable.We went to the seaside，the sea was as blue as the sky，and bathing in the sunshine on the beach，was really an enjoyable thing.I also picked up a lot of colorful shells with my little sister.There we bought many interesting souvenirs，I was planing to send them to my friends.We ate many tings there，such as fish，prawn，and so on.They are very delicious.Then we lived in a clean and tidy hotel，and the price was not so expensive.

　　I like Qingdao very much，and if I got a chance，I hope to come hereagain，it is such a beautiful and interesting place.

　　上个暑假，我和我的家人坐火车去了青岛。那里总是阳光明媚，空气也很清新，令人心情舒畅。我们去了海边，海水和天空一样的蓝，在沙滩上沐浴着阳光，是件很享受的事儿。我和妹妹还捡了好多五颜六色的贝壳。我们在这里买了好多有趣的纪念品，我打算送给我的朋友们。我们在这里吃到了很多东西，比如鱼，虾。。真的很美味。
