　　万里长城不仅仅是我们中华人民的骄傲，而且其中还蕴含着我们古代人民的劳动智慧和辛勤的付出。当我们站在万里长城的青砖上或在欣赏长城的美时，我们就会有一种自豪感。同样，这一项宏伟的建筑令我们后人赞叹不已。

　　建造这一项宏伟的建筑时，既没有机械，又没有运输工具。这完全是用人力完成的。不管严寒酷暑，人们还是坚持工作。即使下着暴雨或刮起大风，他么也在辛勤的工作。就这样经历了多少日夜的风风雨雨，万里长城在这儿拔地而起，显示出中华人民的气魄是多么的宏伟，伟大。这些古人何不具有一种顽强的毅力和不屈不挠，不被困难吓倒的精神呢?而我与他们相比，简直是天壤之别。我感觉自己是中看不中用，惭愧不已。

　　比如说那一次考试，我总觉得自己“天下无敌”，可以“居高临下”。可以易如反掌地消灭一切困难。结果做到一题难题，百思不得其解。最终还是没有被我攻下来，结果那一次考试只考了90分。现在当我想起这一件事时，觉得自己很可耻和惭愧，愧当炎黄子孙，愧当中国人，也更别与问天无愧的人相比较了。

　　所以，从现在开始，我也要让“万里长城”在我心中扎根，然后“拔地而起”，树立一种坚定的信念，让祖国繁荣昌盛，让下一代因我们的贡献而再一次赞叹不已。
