1．谁最棒？
教师通过自身示范并请同学上讲台展示各自的才干，比一比谁最棒。引导同学用“I can …”句型。
T： I can dance。 I can speak English。 What can you do ？
S： I can swim ， I can draw。 ……
2用课件展示 “母亲节的一天”， 让同学对所学的内容有整体感知。
Sarah 非常能干，帮妈妈干家务活，有扫地，做饭，打扫卧室，浇花，到垃圾等片断。告诉同学：Sarah is helpful。 问同学： Why Sarah is helpful？ What can Sarah do？ 同学回答： She can……
3 点击课件， 让Sarah自我介绍。
Sarah： Hello， boys and girls。 I am Sarah， I’m helpful。 I can sweep the floor， I can cook the meals， … Are you helpful？
4 然后再问同学： What can Sarah do？ 此过程中教学单helpful
5 利用卡片逐个教授词组，并且同学边学边做动作。
单词的教学采用指名读，开火车读，小组读，等方式。并且贯穿句型“What can you do？ I can … Can you … ”中教学。
