　　Unit 5 My ideal job

　　Everyone has his dream for his career in the future. He or she might want to be a teacher, a doctor , a scientist ,and so on. My ideal job is to be a lawyer. I have a good eye for detail , a sharp mind, an excellent memory and like taking responsibility as well. So I think I would make a good lawyer .I am planning to open a law firm by myself some day .But now, I must study hard to get myself qualified for my future job.

　　Unit 7 My Home

　　I am living on the 12th floor of a tower building with my wife and my son. It's a newly-built block of flats in the north of the city. We have three bedrooms,one big living-room,one kitchen and two bathrooms. The size is about 150 square meters. When we moved in three years ago, I painted the doors myself , but I had the windows frames painted .We are satisfied with the decorations except the cupboards in the kitchen .So I need to build again .The neighbourhood is nice too, I think my home is cozy and I like my home.

　　Unit 13 High School Life and College Life

　　High school life is quite different from college life. In high school ,the students have to wear school uniform.Teachers always ask students to do many tasks in the classroom. In college, students have to be responsible for themselves. They have more freedom in college than in high school.For example, they put on the casual clothes, instead of uniform,and they must spend more time studying by themselves in the library .Although I often recall my high school life, I like college life more.

　　Unit 14 My TV University Life

　　Our TV University is mainly engaged in long distance education. The form of study is convenient for the adult learners like me . I can learn my courses anywhere in my spare time by computer. There are many web-based courses on line. I not only join online discussion forums ,but also send our homework to the tutor. I solve the difficulties and puzzles in the tutorial once a week.I love my TV University life very much.

　　Unit 15 Life in A Big City

　　In the eyes of many people, city life is attractive with all its advantages and conveniences. People can buy almost kinds of things at supermarkets or shopping malls ,and dine out in good restaurants . However,with expansion of the city,more and more people are flowing into the big cities,and living conditions are worse and worse.

　　Everyone has dreams. Some want to be doctors. Some want to be scientists. Some want to be engineers. I want to be a teacher when I grow up. Because I’m good at talking to people. And I like the job. I would be nice to all my students. I would encourage them to be creative. I wouldn’t give them too much homework on weekends.Maybe I will be a manager. I would run a business and lead a team. I would work hard and make the company bigger and stronger. My teacher often says to us . “No matter what you will be ,you must work hard today”. The main thing is to know yourself and to choose the right path for you. Rich or poor, it doesn’t matter. Our biggest goal is to be happy. I think if we work hard ,our dreans will come true. We will have a good future.

　　My Hobby

　　There are many different kinds of hobbies. Some people like collecting things. Others like sports , drawing, sewing or music.

　　A hobby is not only fun but also useful. It can help build your confidence. It makes your life more colourful. My hobby is gardening. I like to plant vegetables, fruit and flowers in my garden. I like working in my garden. It’s enjoyable and easy to learn.

　　I also like listening to music. When I am tired, I listen to some light music. I feel relaxed and happy.

　　My dream home is located in a small town,there s a lot of mountain around it and a small lake beside it.The sky is blue,the air is fresh and the bird is flying in the sky. There are three rooms in it,a dining room,big and bright.A bedroom clean and warm.A study which is full of the book I like.

　　My favourite room is the study.Because I like reading very much.when reading,it seems like I am a visitor who followed the wirter to view his own world.

　　SO, in order to make it come true,I should study hard from now on,and I believe that nothing is diffcult if I have a will.
